Fuel Me Japan brings station maps, rental return information and refuelling guidance together for visitors driving in Japan and anyone looking for a fuel station. The site is available in English, Traditional Chinese, Korean, Simplified Chinese and Thai.

Where the information comes from

Fuel station records come from OpenStreetMap, using Japan extracts distributed by Geofabrik. Details such as opening hours, payment methods and fuel availability may be missing.

Rental location candidates combine OpenStreetMap and Overture Maps data. Return arrangements for selected airport facilities have also been checked against rental companies’ official information; each detail page shows its verification scope and date.

Prefectural reference prices come from Japan’s Agency for Natural Resources and Energy price survey. They are regional benchmarks, not individual station quotes. Live station prices are not currently available.

Location and local settings

No account is required. Fuel preferences and station favorites are stored in the current browser and do not automatically sync across devices. The site requests location permission only when you press the location button. Precise location is not saved persistently or included in analytics events.

Loading a map sends tile requests and normal network information, including your IP address, to OpenStreetMap. These requests can reveal the area you are viewing.

Brand logo credits

Logos identify the brands recorded in the source data; they do not imply a partnership, endorsement, or current affiliation. Each linked file page declares the displayed wordmark or simple geometric logo as PD-textlogo. Trademark rights remain with their owners. New files are displayed unchanged; the ENEOS and Cosmo symbols are extracted from the originals. Brands without a reviewed asset use the fuel-pump icon.

Records may be incomplete or out of date. A listing does not confirm that a business is open or accepts rental returns, and a map point is not a verified vehicle entrance. Check local signs, your booking and your rental agreement.

My Fuel saves your manually selected display preference; it does not identify the fuel your vehicle needs. Check the fuel-door label and rental agreement.

Fuel Me Japan is an independent information project. It does not represent the fuel stations, rental companies or source organizations shown on the site.
